Summary: Gus’ reunion with two members of his college a cappella quartet, with whom he’s estranged, at the funeral of the fourth leads to a case for Shawn when they ask him to prove that “Diddle” was murdered.
Pineapple Location: The official Word from USA network is that there is no pineapple this week. “Shawn must have eaten them all.”

I seen it during the Shawn and Gus back in high school. They were standing in front of the Travel Careers table, and it was on the right side of the sponsor sitting at the table.
On the opening scene when they are talking in the office look behind Gus. There is a picture of Sponge Bob’s pineapple house. You can see Patrick Star in the picture too.
Melissa points out correctly that the pineapple, while not in the actual episode, is in the webisode that was shown during the commercials of this week’s episode. Thanks melissa. Towards the end of the episode, Gus and Shawn are walking along the beach. There are two girls walking behind them. One of them is carrying a beach towel on which there is an image of a pineapple.
Not sure why USA would say otherwise, and I’m surprised no one else spotted it!!! Check it out.

You tried to throw us off the trail, but check the wedge on the guys plate. No wonder you said “shawn ate all of them”. They were being served at the funeral.
(That wasn’t sponge bob’s house, that wasn’t a discernible pineapple on the towel, but i don’t know any other shade of yellow on a plate ;D)

Also, very very quickly after that, there might be another wedge on a plate as the camera pans, and pineapple being served on the table (5:18 ish)… it’s very quick.

@ alex your dead wrong. no pineapple on the towel or anything ressembling a pineapple. its blue with some wierd lemon shaped green spots. most i could make out of that towel. but no pineapple
Unfortunately, Isaiah and Lazyspoon are wrong. If you zoom in on the plate, you’ll see its actually an orange slice…good effort though.
PS – I know I’m a bit behind, seeing as this episode originally aired 3 years ago. But its now in syndication and ION airs basically a whole season every Saturday.
