Summary: As a joke, Lassiter sticks Shawn with a case where a man shows up naked at the police station claiming to have been abducted by aliens, but Shawn’s investigation soon takes in him into an even stranger universe – speed dating.

In the deleted scenes on the DVD, Shawn wants to toast to Gus agreeing with him by drinking another pinapple juice box.
It looks like Shawn has some pineapple on his plate covered with a napkin. (6:05) Maybe…

I might be imagining it, but right as Gus and Shawn are getting up to leave the restaurant/pub at the end (42:06) to go get some jerk chicken, a pineapple seems to have magically appeared on the table they’re sitting at. Can anyone confirm this?
there isn’t one at the end V2Blast. if you look at (40:07) you can see it’s just a green decoration and on other tables too.
Like Anna said, in the deleted scenes Shawn says to toast with another pineapple juice box. He then puts the juice box on his desk. In the final version of the episode Shawn throws a cloth napkin over the same juice box. (6:04)
I have to agree with the juice box theory, but I also have to add that there’s no such car as an ‘ ’04 Trans Am (Or Firebird…can’t remember which, but they’re all the same)’. The F-body platform was discontinued in 2002.
It is supposed to be in a deleted scene but I’m just saying that is not fair. If it’s not on the episode how can you be expected to find it?
I think it might just be that he mentions that the scones from the coffee place at the beginning has pineapple in it. Does the pineapple actually have to be seen? If not, that’s when I thought it was. Its at 6:45
I think that it is on Gus’s shirt, at the end. Look closely at the flower. It might be a bunch of pineapples together to look like a flower. I don’t know for sure.
